Crazy Golf and Putting

In 2016, The Pittenweem Community Trust took over and renovated the Crazy Golf in Pittenweem, and The West Braes Project began. In January 2017, The West Braes Project became an independent charity, registered with the OSCR (SCO47249).

The local community came together to convert the old crazy golf course into a resource for both locals and tourists alike.

There was also demand for a putting course, so we also created a putting green.

Each year, individuals, groups and businesses sponsor Crazy Golf Holes and Putting Pins to help cover the cost of keeping the crazy golf and putting going, and the money we make from people hiring clubs and balls, and buying refreshments from the hut goes straight back in to running the project.

Opening Times

We try to open at weekends from Easter until the end of the summer holidays, and sometimes more during busy periods.

Because of our dependence on volunteers, we are not able to open everyday, and because of health and safety, we can't open during bad weather. so, please check our Facebook page to check we are open before you come.

Volunteering

As with all aspects of The West Braes Project, the Crazy Golf and Putting is completely volunteer run. This means we require volunteers to run our hut which rents out clubs and balls, as well as sells refreshments. We also need volunteers to mow the putting green and to take the grass away.

If you are interested in volunteering to help us keep the hut open, mow the grass or help take the cut grass away, please contact thewestbraesproject@gmail.com
